Is the sliding door of the kitchen a hanging rail or a ground rail?

Nowadays, many people use glass sliding doors in their kitchens. Glass sliding doors can increase family interaction while cooking without letting lampblack escape. They are really the best choice not to be an open kitchen.
A few days ago, my kitchen was just decorated, so I had to install a door. Our family agreed to install the glass sliding door, but we hesitated between the lifting rail and the ground rail. As a result, the decorator gave us an opinion: "The glass sliding door is recommended to install the ground rail. The owner who installed the lifting rail door contacted me to repair it a few days ago, and it has been repaired three times." After listening to the decorator's words, my sliding door chose the ground rail, and sure enough, there was no problem in the subsequent use. As the name implies, the rail hanging door is a sliding door supported by the upper hanging wheel. Its feature is that there is no lower rail but only upper rail.
This door has many advantages. Let me introduce them one by one:
1. No threshold
As mentioned above, the rail door has no lower rail, which means it has no threshold. Families with old people and children are more convenient to use, and are not afraid of tripping accidentally.
2. Easy to clean
Because the rail hanging door does not have a lower rail, there is a less sanitary corner. You do not need to specially clean the position of the threshold when cleaning.
Teacher Fu said that the owner had installed the rail lifting door before and reported for repair three times because of these shortcomings of the rail lifting door:
1. High installation requirements
The lifting rail door has high requirements on the load-bearing of the door frame. The door frame should be reinforced with Eurosol plates to bear the weight of the whole door. Therefore, the installation requirements for installing the lifting rail door are very high.
2. Short service life
The service life of the lifting rail door is generally shorter than that of the ground rail door, mainly because the door frame is not well loaded.
Many families choose glass sliding doors in their kitchens. Most of them choose subway doors, as do my family. The main reason is that subway doors have many advantages:
1. Cheap
The ground rail door is really much cheaper than the hanging rail door. I just searched the Internet for the price of ordinary ground rail doors, which is about 600 yuan, while the hanging rail doors are basically thousands of yuan.
2. Simple installation
The installation of the ground rail door does not need to consider the weight of the door, so the door frame does not need to use the Eurospring board, and the installation process will be relatively simple.
If we insist on talking about the shortcomings of the ground rail door, I think it is a little more troublesome to clean the ground rail door. Because the ground rail door has a threshold, as long as there is a threshold, dust can easily enter, so the ground rail door needs to be cleaned frequently.

My suggestion is to choose the ground rail for the kitchen sliding door. I will tell you why it is not recommended to choose the lifting rail for the sliding door from three aspects:
1、 Installation
As mentioned above, the installation of the rail gate is very troublesome. Not only the bearing problem should be considered, but also the leveling should be considered. If these two points are not well done, it may lead to problems in subsequent use.
2、 Maintenance
The maintenance of the ground rail door is very simple, just replace the hardware. However, once the rail door has problems, it is basically scrapped.
3、 Sealing
The rail door needs to have a certain distance from the ground. If it is installed in a place that requires a certain degree of tightness, it is not suitable, and it is easy to leak air.
